The 2018 edition of the Green Solutions Awards, a competition organised by the Construction21 network, highlights no fewer than four buildings to which Artelia’s Sustainable Buildings unit has contributed its expertise.
So waste no time in finding out about these exemplary projects, and don’t hesitate to vote for your favourite:
Offices for Triballat in Noyal, a low-carbon building constructed using hempcrete panels and bio-based insulating materials (cork, linen, hemp and cotton). Artelia is assisting Triballat with the procedures to obtain BBCA (low-carbon building) certification.
Thémis, an office building developed by Icade at the ZAC Clichy-Batignolles mixed development zone. It is the first office building to be awarded E+C- (positive-energy, low-carbon) accreditation with an Energy 2 and Carbon 2 rating, as well as BBCA (low-carbon building) certification. Artelia’s assignment included design and supervision services in regard to the Environment and Energy Performance aspects.
The Paris law courts, a high-rise building forming the new emblem of the ZAC Clichy-Batignolles mixed development zone. Artelia is acting as commissioning manager for the HVAC installations.
The Technopôle in Grenoble, a smart building with exemplary energy performance levels. Artelia is assisting Schneider Electric with the procedures to obtain LEED Platinum certification.
The winners of the national competition will be announced on 20 September, and the prizes will be awarded during international ceremony at COP 24 in December in Katowice.
The Thémis office building, located in the 17th district of Paris, is the showcase of ICADE’s commitment to sustainable development. It is part of the pilot projects of the E+C- label and is the first tertiary building to have been certified. With an innovative architectural design (frontage designed to address noise and air quality and reflect daylight), it enjoys high energy efficiency and reaches levels of excellence in carbon footprint mitigation. Its southern frontage and roof are fully covered with plants.
