In April 2016, ADDUAM organised a workshop with the FNAU Urban and Landscape Project Club around the town of Saint-Pierre: five days of visits and discussions, mixing analysis of the region, elaboration of strategies, collective reflection and formulating proposals, all orchestrated by the club's three facilitators, giving practical expression to the skills of the agencies for a multiscale regional project in association with local professionals from the town.

Saint-Pierre is a memorial town, characterised by its location at the foot of the volcano, between sea and mountains, marked by the explosion of Mount Pelee at the beginning of the 20th century, but also today a city of culture and brewing.
How can this territory with its strong identity based around the volcano be united? What overall planning strategy for a new urban quality, meeting the challenge of resilience, in a town marked by risk? What is the common theme that can assemble all the emerging projects and make the multitude of different actions a real political project? Deciphering the potential of a site, generating ideas, mobilising stakeholders and generating project desires were the challenges this urban project workshop in Saint-Pierre 2016 set out to meet.
