The ENERNUM research project gives an image of the data centre landscape in France and three regions of the United States, each representing different spatial and energy situations (dense city, peripheral space, rural). A potential factor in the imbalance of local energy systems, objects which urban accumulation and rural dispersion bring into question, data centres are the subject of an in-depth analysis to better understand the new digital regions under construction, energy solidarity to create and stakeholder alliances to be put in place.
