Cities and mobilities - Reinventing proximity

Reducing the need to travel, consuming locally, taking advantage of local services in the neighbourhood, favouring soft mobility, working remotely ... they’re transforming our mobility routes and reinventing our daily lives in the quest for proximity.

It’s within this context that Bouygues Construction has conducted open and collaborative reflection on the mobility of goods and people by projecting our uses and practices to 2030.
Mobility operators, local authorities, institutions, companies, start-ups, sociologists, real estate players etc contributed to this discussion by sharing their visions and comparing their ideas through a sociological approach combining expert presentations and prospective workshops.
Coming from diverse backgrounds, participants all put practices and uses at the heart of the debate to imagine desirable futures of plural mobility in order to meet societal expectations as well as environmental and economic issues.
