Elithis Danube in Strasbourg: first positive-energy housing tower

30 regions involved in the Ecocités approach receive support from the City of Tomorrow Future Investment Programme, which is managed by the Bank of Territories on behalf of the State.

The Elithis Positive-Energy Housing Tower in Strasbourg is one of the projects that is part of this programme.

Standing 50 metres high in 16 storeys, the Elithis Tower produces more energy than it consumes. It generates renewable energy thanks to photovoltaic panels perched on its roof and attached to the facades.

It offers at market rents 63 housing units and 800 square metres of offices specifically designed to minimise the energy bill of their occupants.
