30 regions involved in the EcoCité approach receive support from the Avenir Ville de Demain investment programme managed by the Banque des Territoires on behalf of the State.

€5 M were invested in this programme for a multimodal logistics hotel in Paris.

Designed to optimise the arrival of goods at the gates of Paris and their redistribution in the capital, the logistics hotel consists of an urban rail terminal. Goods arrive by train and are then unloaded and delivered in Paris by low-polluting vehicles.

The twice-daily link from upstream platforms should help avoid the movement of 80 000 heavy goods vehicles per year on the Ile-de-France road network.

The 45 000 m2 intramuros site also devotes 12 000 m2 to tertiary areas and hosts a business incubator dedicated to sustainable logistics and mobility, higher education institutions and training centres. 10 000 m² of roof space are also devoted to urban agriculture.
