Living regions: 9 keys to the ecological emergency

Faced with the challenges of climate change, the local scale appears to be the ideal level for innovating, experimenting and implementing new ways of living.
Local elected officials thus have an essential role to play in implementing appropriate measures to protect natural environments, biodiversity and the human populations that depend on them.
With this guide, WWF-France is committed to supporting local transitions by proposing a programme for "living and desirable" regions.
Consisting of 9 keys, it establishes recommendations associated with action levers (strategic planning, regulation, public procurement or financial and technical support); to enable local authorities to reinvent towns and regions around vital local functions: live, eat, move, entertain, inform, produce and consume.
