In one click, discover the energy balance of your region!

It’s no longer a matter of debate. To meet the challenge of global warming, we need to decarbonise our cities, our neighbourhoods, our projects and our mobility, which is how we will reduce our CO2 emissions and prepare for a sustainable future.

Aware that this reading grid is sometimes difficult to obtain, EDF has designed an online module that generates an initial energy balance for a region and identifies its "low carbon" potential.

In just one click, local decision-makers can find out the energy balance for their area, check out its CO2 emissions - whether they result from mobility or the presence of industries, for example - and also discover the potential for Renewable Energy: depending on the region, the solutions to be considered are not always the same so it’s important to understand and know a region in order to make best use of it.

The "online energy balance" is a tool that can improve knowledge and strengthen the expertise of communities. It allows us to observe uses, potentially prioritise projects, optimise them, etc.

The energy issue is a lever for "acting locally" and "responding globally" to the challenge of global warming: it must therefore be central to the ambition of elected representatives and the administration within their region.

By logging on to https://www.edf.fr/collectivites and using their post code, everyone can now discover the priority action levers to be implemented.

This tool is aimed at all local decision-makers, whether they administer a large city, a medium-sized town or a rural town.
