Advanced Solutions for stormwater
Urbanization continues to reduce the ground’s natural ability to absorb rainwater, increasing the volume of stormwater collected and evacuated by wastewater systems. In a heavy storm, stormwater runoff can overwhelm wastewater system capacity, causing urban flooding and saturating treatment plants. Increasingly untreated stormwater is being discharged directly into the natural environment and becoming a source of pollution. Today it is crucial that cities integrate stormwater management into their urban planning. That’s why SUEZ developed Advanced Solutions for stormwater.
